How to Become a Brilliant Leader
While leadership is often associated with leading others, the first person you will ever lead is yourself.
Whether or not you have direct reports is irrelevant. Your first leadership job is, was, or will be: Y.O.U.
I audaciously say this because how are you to lead others if you are not at first leading yourself?

If its less than satisfactory, or if you've been looking at your team (or others) to validate your effectiveness, then today the invitation is for you to look inward. This is the foundation of Brilliant Leadership.
What is a Brilliant Leadership?
Brilliant Leadership is an approach that enables high performers to be in their flow, creating results in their area of strength and joy.
It sounds great, and it is, but to get there is a journey that starts with self awareness and taking responsibility for the results that exist today. It begins by asking yourself "how am I contributing to the future I want to create?"
It's not about blaming your boss or other departments (or even the government) for why things aren't in an ideal state. It's about knowing what you want and how you are contributing to the success of making your dreams come true, or holding hostage a dream you won't let live.
Brilliant Leaders are made by learning to hold themselves accountable for their present state and creating the future they wish to live into.
